学部生のあいだに、1冊でも構いませんので、お気に入りの本を見つけてください。私は、入江昭『二十世紀の戦争と平和』（東京大学出版会、1986年）に大きな影響を受けました。今でも大切な本の1冊です。
Please find your favourite book, even if it is just one book, during your undergraduate years. I was greatly influenced by Akira Iriye’s War and Peace in the Twentieth Century (University of Tokyo Press, 1986) when I was an undergraduate student. This book has been one of the most important books for my research.
