Prof. Umehara acts as a facilitator for a group discussion by 49 young leaders from 16 cities (including Hiroshima) of 14 countries around the world, and advises them in the drafting process of their collective manifesto of peace, “Hiroshima Appeal 2025,” in the International Youth Conference for Peace in the Future, Hiroshima 2025, held by and in Hiroshima City."
