広島市立大学広島平和研究所の紀要『広島平和研究』の執筆に際しては、本投稿規程によるものとする。投稿された論文は匿名の査読者による査読に付される。
１．使用言語
⑴ すべての投稿原稿は日本語または英語で執筆されたオリジナルの未公刊のものであり、他誌において発表済み、または投稿中であってはならない。
⑵ 邦文原稿の場合には、提出時に英文表記による表題と執筆者名を別記すること。
２．原稿と文字数
⑴ 原稿は、原則としてMicrosoft Word で作成すること。
⑵ 特集論文、独立論文は、邦文16 , 000～25 , 000文字、英文10 , 000～15 , 000ワードとする。
⑶ 研究ノートは、邦文14 , 000～20 , 000文字、英文8 , 500～12 , 000ワードとする。
⑷ 書評（招待原稿のみ）は、邦文4 , 000～5 , 000文字、英文2 , 500～3 , 000ワードとする。
⑸ 注、および図表等は制限字数内に含めること。
⑹ 邦文原稿内での半角英数字は1/2文字としてカウントする。（A＝「文字数（スペースを含めない）」、B＝「全角＋半角カタカナ」とした場合、「A＋B」÷2で換算する）
⑺ 論文要旨及びキーワードは、制限字数にはカウントしない。
３．原稿の書式
⑴ 邦文原稿の書式はA4横書き、36字×36行とすること。英文原稿の場合は、英語の投稿規程を参照すること。
⑵ 審査の都合上、投稿原稿には執筆者の氏名を掲載しないこと。投稿原稿とは別に、氏名、投稿原稿のタイトルとカテゴリー（特集論文・独立論文・研究ノートのいずれか）、所属と職名、Ｅメールアドレス、住所を記した文書を別ファイルとしてメールに添付して提出すること。
４．文章、および章、節、項
⑴ 邦文原稿の文章は、新字体、新仮名づかいによるものとする。また、本文と注における句読点は点（、）と丸（。）とし、原則としてコンマ（，）ピリオド（．）は用いない。
⑵ 各見出しの数字は、以下のように統一する。なお、「はじめに」と「おわりに」には数字を振らない。

５．注と図表
⑴ 注は原則として論文末に一括すること。
⑵ 注番号は本文の該当箇所の右上付きに1 、2 、3 のように通し番号で入れること。末尾の注の一覧にも1 、2 、3 の番号を付すこと。
⑶ 注における参照文献の示し方は、原則として、著者、書名、発行所、発行年（もしくは著者、論文タイトル、掲載誌、巻・号、発行年月）、頁数とすること。
⑷ 図表、写真等には、通し番号を付し、本文中に挿入位置を明示して提出すること。
６ ．論文要旨、キーワード
⑴ 邦文原稿・英文原稿ともに、執筆者の責任において要旨を作成し提出すること。邦文原稿の場合は400字程度、英文原稿の場合は250ワード程度とし、論文・研究ノートの冒頭に掲載すること。
⑵ 論文・研究ノートにはキーワードを3 ～ 5 語抽出し、要旨の後に掲載すること。
７．ウェブ上での公開とその許諾
『広島平和研究』は、編集委員会が認める手段でウェブ上に公開される。原稿の提出をもって、投稿原稿がウェブ上に公開されることに関して執筆者が許諾したものとする。
８．著作権に係る許諾
投稿原稿に掲載する画像・写真・図表等で著作権に係る許諾が必要なものについては、執筆者の責任において許諾を得ること。許諾は、ウェブ上での公開を含めて得ること。
９ ．校正
校正は三校までとする。筆者校正は二校までとし、原則として字句の訂正程度に留めるものとする。

投稿原稿は電子メールで、journal-peace&m.hiroshima-cu.ac.jpに送付すること。

Submission Guidelines
This guideline details the format and the style for manuscript submissions to ensure consistency and clarity in editing and publication. Manuscript citations should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. All papers are subject to anonymous peer review.
1. Language
All manuscripts must be written in English or Japanese and must be original works that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
2. Manuscript and the Length
(1) Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word.
(2) Article length should be between 10,000 and 15,000 words, including notes, statistics, photographs,
etc.
(3) Research notes should be between 8,500 and 12,000 words, including notes, statistics, photographs,
etc.
(4) Book reviews are by invitation only and should be between 2,500 and 3,000 words.
(5) Abstract and keywords are excluded from the word count.
3. Manuscript Format
(1) The manuscript should be submitted digitally and should use a double-spaced 12-point font and A4 page formatting.
(2) To facilitate the blind review process, your name should not appear on any page of the submitted
manuscript. Please submit a separate cover sheet that includes your name, article title, category of the article (Special Feature, Research Article or Research Note), position, institution, e-mail address and a mailing address.
4. Numbering of Sections
The Introduction and Conclusion sections should not be numbered. Headings and sub-headings should be numbered according to the following system: Major headings: 1.2.3; First sub-headings:
(1) (2) (3); Second sub-headings: (a) (b) (c).

5. Notes, Tables, Figures, etc.
(1) Notes should be numbered sequentially throughout the text and inserted at the end of the text, rather than at the bottom of each page.
(2) Notes should be indicated in the text by superscript figures and collected at the end of the article in numerical order.
(3) Notes should follow this basic format:
Book: Author’s given name or initial(s), author’s family name, title of book [italic] (city of publication:
publisher, year of publication), page numbers.
Journal article: Author’s given name or initial(s), author’s family name, “title of article,” name of journal [italic], volume number (year of publication): page numbers.
Chapter in book: Author’s given name or initial(s), author’s family name, “title of article,” in title of book [italic] editor(s) of book (city of publication: publisher, year of publication), page numbers.
(4) Tables, figures, images, etc. should be numbered and have brief titles. Indicate locations in the text to insert tables and figures. Submit tables, figures and images on separate sheets.
(5) A list of references in alphabetical order should be provided at the end of the article with family names appearing first.
6. Abstract and Keywords of Article
(1) The manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract (approximately 250 words).
(2) Provide 3 to 5 keywords. These should appear immediately after the abstract.
7. Online Publication and Authorʼs Consent
Hiroshima Peace Research Journal will be made publicly available online through methods approved
by the Editorial Committee. Submission of a manuscript shall be regarded as the author’s
consent to its online publication.
8. Copyright Permissions
Authors must obtain permission from the copyright holder before including any third-party materials—
such as images, photographs, or figures—in their manuscript. They bear full responsibility for securing such permissions. Such permission must allow for both print and online publication.
9. Proofreading
Proofreading should be limited to three rounds. The authors are permitted to proofread only up to
second proofreading, and as a general rule, no additional corrections are allowed except for typographical errors and omissions.
