広島平和研究所は、平和研究の成果を大学・大学院における教育に生かすと同時に、シンポジウムや市民講座を通じて一般に公開し、社会に還元してまいりました。具体的には以下の活動に取り組んでいますが、いずれも参加は無料です。過去の活動は、ウェブサイトのほか、ニューズレター、ブックレット、紀要などの出版物を通じて公開しています。

While the HPI applies the results of its research on peace in education at HCU, it returns the benefits to society through symposia, public lecture series, and other social events. All the events mentioned below are free of charge and the outcomes are publicized on HPI’s newsletter, booklet, or journal, which are available digitally on our website.

    河上教授、二葉公民館主催の「人権教育講座」で「ヒロシマと憲法」と題して講演（於：二葉公民館）

    Prof. Kawakami presents a lecture titled, “Hiroshima and the Constitution,” at a “Lecture on Human Rights Education” hosted by Futaba Community Center.

    梅原教授、広島県立高陽東高校の2年生を対象とした進路ガイダンスイベントとして、「『国際紛争』〜解決の糸口を探ろう〜」と題した生徒らによるグループ研究の中間発表に対して、研究を深めるための助言を与えるアドバイザー役を務める（於：広島市）

    Prof. Umehara serves as an advisor providing guidance to deepen research for the interim presentations of student group studies titled “International Conflicts: Exploring Pathways to Resolution,” held as a career guidance event for second-year students at Hiroshima Prefectural Koyo Higashi High School.

    Prof. Kawakami presents a lecture on the Constitution and Human Rights to students at the Christian Aishin High School in Gotsu City, Shimane Prefecture.

    佐藤教授、広島市立大学広島平和研究所主催の2025年度連続市民講座 「広島から戦後80年と平和を考える」で「『核の傘』の当事者性―私たちは何を問われているのか」と題して講義（オンライン）

    Prof. Sato presents a lecture titled “What does the nuclear umbrella mean to us?” in the public lecture series AY2025 “Perspectives from Hiroshima-80 Years of Peace” organized and delivered by the Hiroshima Peace Institute, Hiroshima City University (online).

    大芝特任教授、「国際理解と平和」について名古屋大学教育学部附属中学校の生徒たちのインタビューを受ける（於：広島市立大学広島平和研究所）

    Specially appointed Prof. Oshiba participates in interviews by students of Nagoya University Affiliated Lower Secondary School on the International Understanding and Peace, at the Hiroshima Peace Institute, Hiroshima City University.
