梅原教授、広島市などが主催する青少年国際未来会議の今年度会議に参加するためポルトガル・エヴォラに派遣される広島からの参加学生5人に対する事前研修の一環で、「広島・長崎とHiroshima, Nagasaki——共通点とズレから考える」と題して講義（於：広島市中区福祉センター）
Prof. Umehara gives a lecture titled “’Hiroshima and Nagasaki’ in Japanese and English: Considering Commonalities and Discrepancies” as part of a pre-departure training program for five student participants from Hiroshima who will be dispatched to Évora, Portugal, to attend this year’s International Youth Conference for Peace in the Future, organized by the City of Hiroshima and other bodies. The lecture takes place at the Hiroshima City Naka Ward Community Welfare Center.
