2020年に中国の遼寧大学を卒業して、今は広島市立大学平和学研究科の博士前期課程に在籍しています。私の研究テーマは「東アジア安全保障共同体の構築過程から見るASEAN＋3の発展と現状」です。
実は、私は大学卒業後直ぐに就職しました。留学どころか中国で大学院に進学することも全く考えていませんでした。なぜかというと、両親とも高齢で、これ以上負担をかけたくなかったからです。しかし幸いにも、母校の先生が広島市立大学の独自の「公益財団法人松尾孝記念財団奨学金」を紹介して下さいました。この奨学金があれば、二年間の学費だけでなく、生活費の一部も賄えます。コロナで一年間自宅待機していましたが、この一年間の奨学金も日本に着いてから全額支給されました。そのおかげで、経済的な不安もそれほど大きくありません。
広島は山も水も明媚なところです。非常に悲惨な歴史的経験を持つため、広島の人々は特に平和を大切にします。ここで平和学を研究することは、とても有意義で価値があることだと思います。

I graduated from Liaoning University in China in 2020 and am currently taking a pre-doctoral course in the graduate school of Peace Studies at Hiroshima City University. My study theme is "The development and current state of ASEAN Plus Three (APT) in the context of the process of building an East Asian Security Community."
Actually, I started my career right after I graduated from college. I didn’t consider studying in China for a master’s degree at all not to mention studying abroad. Since my parents are getting on in age, I don't want to add more burdens to my family. Fortunately, a teacher at my alma mater introduced me to the Hiroshima City University's own scholarship ‘Matsuo-Takashi Memorial Foundation Scholarship.’ This scholarship can cover the full tuition for two years and also a part of the living expenses. I spent a year in China because of COVID19, but my scholarship for that year was fully paid after I arrived in Japan. Thanks to that, I'm not under much financial pressure.
Hiroshima is a beautiful place. People here especially cherish peace because of their tragic past experiences. I think it is very meaningful and valuable to study peace studies here.
