ジェイコブズ教授と沖村教授が、未来を担うG7各国の若者が国際社会の諸問題について意見交換を行い、成果文書をとりまとめるジュニア会議のファシリテーターに就任しました。
会議は、3月27日から30日の間で開催され、ジェイコブズ教授と沖村教授はG7各国の高校生に対して講義を行うほか、県内視察に随行し、平和・環境のテーマに対して解説し、成果文書の作成支援を行いました。
Prof. Jacobs and Prof. Okimura appointed as facilitators for Hiroshima G7 Summit Junior Conference
Professors Jacobs and Okimura were appointed as facilitators of the Junior Conference, where young people from the G7 countries, who are the future leaders of the world, exchanged views on various issues affecting the international community and compiled a document of their reports.
The conference was held from March 27 to 30. Both Professors gave lectures to high school students from the G7 countries, accompanied them on tours of Hiroshima prefecture, provided explanations on Peace and Sustainability issues, and assisted in drafting the Outcome Document.
