2022年5月12日（木）、ステファン・ホイクル・ヨハネソン駐日アイスランド大使が本学を訪問しました。
本学および広島平和研究所の取り組みについて、若林学長、平和研究所：大芝所長、沖村教授からの紹介とともに、国際情勢の中でのアイスランドの平和維持活動について意見交換を行いました。
His Excellency Mr. Stefán Haukur JÓHANNESSON, Ambassador of Iceland to Japan, visited Hiroshima City University (HCU). HCU President Wakabayashi, HPI Director Oshiba, and Professor Okimura introduced the work of the University and the HPI, and exchanged opinions on Iceland's peacekeeping operations in the context of international affairs.
