G7広島サミットの開催を前に、世界各国の若者が集まって核兵器廃絶に向けてどのように行動するか議論する「広島G7ユースサミット」（主催：核兵器廃絶国際キャンペーン（ICAN））が4月25日（火）～27日（金）に開催されました。
2日目の4月26日（水）には、広島平和記念資料館で一般公開セッションが行われ、ジェイコブズ教授が司会を務めました。
Prof. Jacobs appointed as host for Hiroshima G7 youth summit
Prior to the G7 Hiroshima Summit in Hiroshima this May, the “Hiroshima G7 Youth Summit” was held from Tuesday, April 25 to Friday, April 27, where young people from around the world gathered to consider actions towards nuclear weapons abolition.
On the second day, Wednesday, April 26, a public session was held at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, with Professor Jacobs serving as moderator.
