2023年6月2日（18時30分～20時）、平和学研究科進学説明会がオンラインで開催されました。主にウェブサイトでのお知らせになりましたが、国内外から10名の方に参加していただきました。
当日は、まず大芝研究科長が平和学研究科の概要を、続いて入試担当が入学試験の概要を説明しました。さらに、平和学研究科の大学院生が学生生活について話をする機会が設けられました。
その後、Zoomのブレイクアウトルーム機能を用いた質疑応答に移りました。平和学研究科の専任教員、スタッフ、大学院生が各部屋に分かれ、参加者との間で日本語、英語による質疑応答の時間が設けられました。参加者は、20分ずつ異なるルームに入り、進学・入試・大学院生活などについて情報を得たり、意見交換したりする場となりました。
今回も、海外、国内各地から多くの方が参加して下さいました。改めて、物理的な距離を克服するオンラインの良さを実感することができました。最後にはブレイクアウトルームからメインルームに全員が戻り、閉会の挨拶となりましたが、参加者のみなさんの笑顔が印象的でした。
今回のオンライン進学説明会は、みなさまのご協力によりとても充実した時間になりました。改めまして御礼申し上げます。次回、2023年度第2回オンライン進学説明会は10月に開催予定です。是非、ご参加いただければ幸いです。
Graduate School of Peace Studies: Online Briefing Session on Admission (June 2023)
On the evening of June 2, 2023, an online information session was held by the Graduate School of Peace Studies. 10 people from Japan and abroad attended the session, which was previously announced on the website. At the information session, Dean Oshiba gave an overview of the Graduate School of Peace Studies in his opening remarks. Then, an outline of the entrance examination was explained. This was followed by presentations by master's degree students of the Graduate School of Peace Studies, giving the audience a realistic view of graduate school from the perspective of current graduate students.
After the various presentations, a question-and-answer session was held using Zoom's breakout session feature. Faculty and administrative staff of the Graduate School of Peace Studies were divided into rooms. Participants asked many questions in both Japanese and English as they moved between rooms. Because of the online venue, which transcended physical distance, it was impressive to see participants from various parts of Japan as well as from overseas able to easily join. At the end of the session, all participants returned to the main venue from each of the breakout sessions and gave closing remarks with smiles on their faces.
The next online information session is scheduled for October. We look forward to your participation.
