Prof. Umehara and Lecturer Oshita participate as discussants in “Preparatory Meeting: Action Plan for 2050 – Agenda for Nuclear Disarmament,” organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and held at UNITAR Hiroshima office, in preparation for a side event at the April–May Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference.

Lecturers Oshita and Moriue serve as advisors in a group discussion on further elaborating the roadmap developed last year to achieve a peaceful world without nuclear weapons by 2050 at the "Hiroshima Training Programme on Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation,” organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), held at JMS Aster Plaza.

Lecturer Oshita delivers lectures entitled “General Introduction to the Law of the Sea” and “Islands and Baselines” in the JICA Thematic Training Program for Diplomats, “Public International Law (Law of the Sea and the Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes)”, held at the JICA Tokyo.

Prof. Umehara contributes an article titled “The Lightness and Risks Reflected in the Takaiichi Administration’s Suggestion of Revising Nuclear Policy” to Issue No. 37 of the Peace Depot Disarmament and Peace Report, published by the non-profit organization Peace Depot.

永井教授、編著書『総決算 対日戦犯裁判』（講談社、2026年）を出版（電子書籍版も同時刊行）

Prof. Nagai publishes his edited book, Sokessan Tainichi Senpansaiban (A Comprehensive History of the Japanese War Crimes Trials) in Japanese (Kodansha, 2026). An e-book version was also released simultaneously.
